Buah Melaka
Sitting at this chair, reeks of beer, I thought about last night. It is at times really a nuinsance coming to work, and you're slightly drunk from last night.
"You look stoned."
A colleague told me this morning while we were having a cigarette before I walk in to what it seems at that time the gate of Hell.
"I am still high like a motherfucker."
Last night short drinking session was extended right to near 3 a.m or so. I remember seeing little parts of the roads in my dream. Wait that was not a dream. That was me driving back home, and felt like watching snippets of a movie. A movie about someone driving a car. I was like driving a car in a dream while driving a car. Question is was I actually driving it? Or was it my conscience telling me that I should get home because work is just few hours away?
Nevermind my inner child talk.
I get to meet Junior. A Malacca boy with all means of being a Malacca boy. If you are a sensitive person, who gets intimidated if people keeps banging you or telling you upfront without sugarcoating, you will not like people from Malacca. Their jokes are harsh but meant no harm.
Junior and I share a common bond, asides drinking of course. We both think Jebat is the real hero of Malacca, not the Tuah every history book has been talking about. In fact I used to think that I was alone in this. Now that Junior told me that Malacca people regards Jebat as the hero, never Tuah.
"Only KL people thinks Tuah is the true hero."
He uttered that out. Now that he knows not every KL people think so. One friend who would go against the whole country (well at that moment, Malacca was quite a country) to repay what the country has done to you. In other words, he would die for you. And how did Tuah repay that?
"It's alright Sultan. I will take care of the rebel myself. I will make sure that my country stays free from all evil. You know what Sultan, can I blow you after all this is settled. Please, just one blow. I have been thinking about doing that since you looked so manly giving orders to have me killed."
He also mentioned that Tuah is like what we see in UMNO now. In fact he said that Tuah is what UMNO now.
So here it is, a toast to Jebat. You did the right thing my friend. I always dream of having a friend like you. Like Daffy in The Beach would say, "Are you with me, or are you against me?" in thick Brit accent.

Sure friend. I think Ulat is the best friend. Either him or the Lord Cowbanger.
But one thing you should know that the story of Tuah & Jebat is just one part of this story. While he was young. Hang Tuah after that repent, he travelled the world and indulge in sufism.

So does he still continue blowing people? Or he only blow Sufi now?
