I looked at it many times. The phrase above. The tagline for the movie Babel, which is lying on my DVD rack for quite some time. Time constraint must be one of the reason I have not watch it. As most of you would know, I like my movie time to be not interrupted.


Apeq usually call these genre of movies, "The Fern Leaf Movie". Movies that he does not enjoy to watch because it's complicated and most probably involved stagnant camera pan. Whenever we walk in a DVD shop, he would shout from afar, "Kor, your type of movie. I saw fern leaves growing all over it."


I would not know how great or bad it is, since I have not watch it myself. A movie that spans from the Middle East to Japan, and even South America.

But one factor that made me want to also buy it was Cate Blanchett. It is amusing to myself why I sometimes find her attractive. She, well, is not like in the top ten prettiest woman in Hollywood. She's skinny and doesn't have silicone boobs that makes half the men population go goo goo gaa gaa. She has a face so long, people could mistaken her as a horse.
But she was amazing in Coffee and Cigarettes, where she plays two characters, and that two characters are talking to themselves in their session in the movie. A completely opposite characters I might add.
Then again most of you will know that what is attractive in the photo in here is her short hair. What it is with short hair? I have no idea.

It must have been her eyes. So tensed. I could almost feel her ripping my clothes off. It must be.
