The unconventional bandwagon
Today marks the day where some people will have a hike of profit. At times it could be more of a nonsensical hike. Cinema and television will be filled with romantic comedies, and tissue inducing love stories to join in the hype.
All we know we cannot do anything to stop the price hike. Because as in any economy lesson, the higher the demand, you will know that people will take that opportunity to make a little more. But we are not talking about that today.
Of all the movies in the cinema right now, there would be a surprise. In my opinion, Babel would be the most appropriate movie for Valentine's day. Because in it, it provides a more deeper sense of love. Love, not only focused on merry skipping couples, walking hand in hand, kissing under the moonlight (or street light) and most probably ending up somewhere comfortable screwing the night away.
On this auspicious colorful day, there would be some people who forgotten about the love for the family, friends, and the most forgotten love is the love for a stranger.
If you are undecided on which movie to watch if you happen to plan for a movie at the cinema, watch Babel. Wait, I take that back, get the DVD instead. It will be censored. That I can tell you.

Indeed. We get to see lots for bush flashes.
Babel is lovely, but many didn't actually get the point of the story. At least from what I heard sitting down in the midst of people last night.
Happy Valentine's to you too. Oh my I am drowning. Somebody pass me a buoy.
Stupid bandwagon. Turned out to be too full for me to jump on!
Anyway, I watched Babel over the weekend. Not too bad. A bit slow... I still am not sure what message they are trying to put across though.
Don’t ask me how I got here, I just accidentally dropped by =)
I watched Babel too! My bf was cursing it as he's not fond of these kinda complex storylines, while I on the other hand was quite amazed to see Rinko from a different point of ..view?
Overall it was aite, I love Amores Perros much more.
